Website launch process

We look forward to working with you.

In order to get your sites live as quickly and seamlessly as possible, we use the below step-by-step guide, to help you through the process.

• 1  BRIEF
  We will ask you for the reason behind the change in provider or the new website you are creating, what you hope to achieve and key content for the site. At this time we will also ask for any designs you like and dislike to help us begin crafting your new site.
  
  

• 2  DESIGN
  The team will work up some initial designs for the look and feel of your site. We will then present
  these back to you for feedback.
  
  

• 3  CONTENT
  Depending on how much detail we were able to gather at the initial briefing; we may need a further discussion with you around the content on your site. If you are moving an existing site, you may wish to keep content the same, or you may like to take this opportunity to refresh what’s there. If this is a brand new site, we will ask you what content needs to be in place and if you have any preferences over navigation structure. The team at Room 58 are happy to design and amend your content to optimize it fully.
  
  

• 4  DETAILS
  Once the build of the of the site is underway, there are a few more details we will require from you:
  

• a)  Firstly we will need to know what domains you hope to use for the site and if you already own these. If you do, the easiest way to move forward is for you to share the login details with Room 58 so that we can prepare the domain for launch. If this is not possible, we will ask you for a full copy of you DNS Zone Files (the A records, cnames, mx records etc) so that we can set these up on our end, we will then provide you with four Nameservers that will need to be added to your domain.

• b)  Secondly we will ask you about the SEO for the existing site or what SEO we recommend for the new one. A separate document will be sent to gather this information.
  
  

• 5  DEMO
  Once the design and content are in place, we will present you with your new site, in a demo
  environment. This will give you time to check over the site fully and to request any necessary amends.
  
  

• 6  GO LIVE
  Once all of the above steps have been completed and you have signed your site off. It’s time to go live! We will agree a day and time with you and then Room 58 takes care of the rest.
